Gangster Films Evolution

The Gangster genere evolved over time starting from a gangster being a tuff kid who grew up on the streets evolving into a tragic story of a man who has nothing left being forced into crime to suit his needs. The genere evolved with the times after WW2 the movies consisted of men returning from war to a changed America where the gangsters and corporations work together. or like in the godfather return to a family who has become so feared and corrupt that you can never leave the family.
